It’s a Great Feeling When You’ve Successfully Completed

KTrans linehaul operations recently finalised the transport of 25km of pipe from Naval Base WA through to the Lake Eyre Basin in the middle of winter. Thanks to the excellence of our Operational Supervisors and the diligent drivers involved, we safely delivered 215 trailer loads to the Oodnadatta track site for unloading by BHP. In excess of 610,000 kms were travelled over the 8 week period with no damage/loss to freight, no injuries and only 1 minor instance of equipment damage to a trailer in week 2. A great learning opportunity to improve. It’s also great to see the positive acknowledgements of a great partnership relationship between supplier, customer and prime contractor.

40 Under 40 Awards

WORKSAFE PLATINUM CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT

On Friday 26th of November 2021, our KTrans Directors Wade Jolly and Sam Keene were presented with the Worksafe Plan PLATINUM Certificate of Achievement at our KTrans state-of-the art facility in Kenwick.

The certificate was presented by Mr Ian Munns (Deputy Director General, Safety Regulation, Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety). Platinum Certificates are for those organisations that achieve highest standards and in recognition of their outstanding management of safety and health in the workplace, and contribution to the reduction of work related injury and disease in Western Australia. Mr Munns further declared that it was in only exceptional circumstances that a Company reached Platinum Achievement, without first achieving Silver and Gold.

Mr Wade Jolly, our Managing Director thanked Mr Ian Munns and then the KTrans TEAM saying the following :

“The standards company’s must have to receive achievements such as this are very high, and as an indication of this there have been just 11 companies in WA across all industries to awarded this, with KTrans being the only Transport and Logistics company to achieve this wholly across their business in 2021.

As a team we achieved this certification by consistently aligning to the  KTrans five culture pillars of Discipline, Accountability, Loyalty, Honesty and Pride. This approach has allowed the award recognition, as we have received today achievable.

This doesn’t happen by only a portion of our team taking safety seriously, it takes every single one of us day in and day out determined to see – not just ourselves – but our team mates go home safely to their families.”

MEDIA RELEASE – Corporate Sponsored Golf Day

Breast Cancer Care WA Corporate Golf Day, Driven by KTrans

EVENT DATE: Tuesday 29 March 2022

After a hugely successful inaugural event in 2021, Breast Cancer Care WA will tee-off in partnership with leading transport and logistics company, KTrans, for a day of golf, networking and giving back, on the beautiful greens of Joondalup Resort.

Teams of four will tackle 18 holes in a classic four-ball Ambrose event before retiring to the 19th Hole Sundowner for drinks, nibbles and an auction or two.

All money raised through the event stays in WA to support people living with breast cancer through free emotional, practical and financial support provided by Breast Cancer Care WA’s dedicated team of specialist breast care nurses and counsellors.

KTrans Managing Director, Wade Jolly, said many of their team members and their close family and friends have been impacted by breast cancer, which is what motivated him to become a partner of the Golf Day event.

“While we can’t change what has happened, we couldn’t think of a better way to positively support and influence outcomes than by supporting Breast Cancer Care WA,” he said.
